When times are tight, or if you are a new business with limited funds, there are some inexpensive ways to get your message out there.
Most of us either have a computer or a friend that does. Set up a flyer on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, take it to your local copy shop and run off a few. Tack them up in laundromats, grocery stores or anywhere that customers will see them. You can even stand on the street corners and pass them out to passersby. Just make sure they are being exposed to your target market.
Extra Savings: Layout the flyer two to a page and cut your costs in half. Instead of one 8.5 x 11 flyer you get two 8.5 x 5.5 flyers.
Caution: Avoid putting them under windshield wipers on cars in parking lots. Some shopping centers have a policy against this and you may have a problem with them. The other problem is that to some people this is a negative. They have to get out of the car and take the flyer off the car and you may start your relationship with a negative.
