There Are A Lot Of Customers
In The Newspaper
by Tom Egelhoff
Have you taken a good look at your newspaper lately? It's a gold mine for finding new business. There are the obvious ones like the wedding and birth announcements. People who are setting up a new household or who have a new addition are going to be looking for lots of goods and services. Some local papers have a people in business section where you can list awards, new employees and any other information to promote your business. It's a great way to find out about who's doing what.
The one you might be overlooking is the help wanted ads. These will tell you who is hiring and new or expanding companies looking for new people. There's more than just news in the newspaper.
